I hope there isn't a MO2.Īnyways, I just copied the log from the FNIS Tool exe as you weren't specific enough for that. There is a Mod Organizer 2? If there is, What the ♥♥♥♥? Why was I not told of this. Copy and paste whole log from it's white field here. It is no issue for modders relying solely on Mod Organizer. I understand why, but I also understand why Tannin didn't move to fix the issue for 32bit MO.

You will end up with exactly the same folder structure as installing it through MO, if that was done right in the first place.įore got a bit heated there. It needs to be ran through Mod Organizer anyway.

I do not recommend installing FNIS manually. Originally posted by Ilja:FNIS and PCEA2 work both just fine with MO2. I also changed the load order of the overwrite FNIS generated file to the bottom. Now it just says that the FNIS Generation failed when I try to generate it again and deleted some files on FNIS because the author of PCEA2 said in the NexusMod comments but won't clearly explain why)ĮDIT: I fixed it! I reinstalled it and ran the game twice. So what I want is an instruction to uninstalling it and reinstalling FNIS or maybe even a way to actually fix FNIS PCEA2 (Before, options wouln't show up at all on MCM. But despite how small it seems, the uninstalliton is probably extremely messy because well.

Unless I'm told otherwise, in a few days I'll move Skyrim to my M-drive and do a clean install of NMM.After numerous attempts to ♥♥♥♥ing fix FNIS PCEA2, it seems impossible because the author stopped supporting it or at least disabled it for Mod Organizer because he got a personal grudge towards the MO author (And claims that FNIS doesn't work with Mod Organizer despite this mod working perfectly well in the past with MO for me).īut I still really want this mod and I really want to fix it and it seems like the only way is to reinstall FNIS and other FNIS based mods manually. This is my way of saying how grateful I am that others continue to improve on NMM. Vortex's dependence on LOOT which also has it faults, made Vortex a struggle I didn't want to deal with. With NMM, starting over from scratch (if necessary) is a matter of hours (depending on the number of mods used) but with MO2 it would take me days.

I used MO2 to play TTW and all worked well until I one day TTW would not start even though nothing had changed nor could I discover how to fix it. I find it more intuitive and easier to use. On the other hand, does my experience reveal a more fundamental problem with NMM? I hope not since I much prefer to use NMM rather than either MO2 or Vortex, regardless of what the naysayers claim are its many faults. In the absence of advice from NMM experts, that is what I plan to do. Is it simply a matter of having NMM installed on the same drive as my games? Then I should move Skyrim to my M-drive. Before I reinstall it on M-HD where most of my games are installed (Fallout 3, 4 and NV SkyrimSE, Witcher3, Far Cry 3,4,5& New Dawn, Assassins: Black Flag, Odyssey and Origins, etc.) I would like to know how to prevent this problem from recurring. I have since uninstalled NMM from both drives. In the case of "AddItem", SKSE files as well as text and script files were not installed. The same was true for all other folders that should have had txt files installed.

After trying to update with NMM not one txt file was transferred to "Tools" or any of its subfolders. But, for example, "FNIS Behavior" adds many txt. The mods' esp's had been updated (judging by date modified in file manager). I was updating FNIS and other outdated mods (e.g., AddItem), but otherwise hoping to play my old modded game on drive I. My Skyrim game, which I hadn't played for more than a year, was installed on I: drive. The version on M: was the most recent version and the one I used. NMM was installed on both my I: and M: drives.
